Janie Collins
Janie is a dedicated Senior Researcher and Trainer for International Genealogical Search Inc. and has been employed at IGS as a Forensic Genealogical Researcher since 2003. She has been responsible for identifying and locating the current whereabouts of missing individuals and for identifying, locating, proving and reporting the potential heirs of Estates & Trusts, based on our Lineal and Generational searches. Janie’s documented and comprehensive written genealogical reports have met the requirements of Surrogate’s, Circuit and Probate courts. As an experienced Genealogical Researcher, she has personally researched and resolved over 350 Estate related cases. Janie’s Certificate in Management is put to good use as she oversees the training of new Forensic Genealogists. Janie specializes in locating heirs at law for searches that extend to several generations of research and is able to piece together even the most complicated family histories. Janie is a proud member of the National Genealogical Society and the New York, Utah, and British Columbia Genealogical Societies.
